After waiting and holding off for a very long time on ordering the two newest palettes from Sugarpill I finally decided to cave in and order these beauties when Sugarpill had their black friday deal. I've been a long time fan of Sugarpill going back to the days when Amy had her Ebay account selling Kryolan and the clothing she used to make. I'm going to share my thoughts on each of the colors in these palettes and post up close Swatches of them as well.

I'll Start with the Cold Chemistry Palette since it has been out longer. I wanted this palette since day one of it's release but, as the Makeup addiction life goes I kept pushing it aside for other releases so i'm happy it's in my hands today.

Soot & Stars - Sugarpill describes this as a gunmetal with prismatic sparkles and I completely agree. When you look at this color in the pan it just looks like your average gunmetal grey with silver sparkle but, once you swatch this color it has this gorgeous amount of multi Dimensional glitters in it. When you blend this eyeshadow out it doesn't lose its sparkle either so look forward to seeing a gorgeous smokey look with this color.

Diamond Eyes - Sugarpill describes this as a satin white with crystalline sheen. For sure this color is a satin and it is stunning for a brow highlight and inner corner highlight but, I must admit this is the color I was looking forward to the least. It's beautiful, pigmented and blends out easily but I just feel like this is a common white color that a lot of companies make. If you don't own an eyeshadow like this though it's perfect!

Elemental Chaos - Sugarpill describes this as a deep grape shimmer with iridescent blue undertones. I do see this color as a grape and I do see the blue undertone to it but, that hint of blue to it is more due to the fact that it has very fine blue sparkles to it. Elemental chaos is super pigmented and just glides on like butter and when you blend this color out it doesn't lose its spark. For sure this is one of my favorite colors that Sugarpill has released.

Subterranean - Last but not least and my Favorite color from the cold chemistry set. Sugarpill describes this color as a Lustrous peacock green with navy blue undertones. This is pretty much what I pictured the deep teal in the Lorac mega pro to be like. I don't see the navy undertone going on so much but, I do see a slight black undertone not overly black though just a nice touch to make this color more rich. Also there are very fine green shimmers in this eyeshadow. I could stare at this for hours and never get bored.

My Final rating on the Cold Chemistry set 10/10

If I had to pick two colors for someone who doesn't want the entire palette. I would say get Subterranean and Elemental chaos.

Now I'm going to share my thoughts on the Sparkle Baby Eyeshadows. Just looking at this palette makes me feel bright and happy. It makes me think of Spring time, Easter and those candy hearts they sell on Valentines day. (total mix of emotion I know lol)

(you can't look at this ^ and say it's not pure happiness in eyeshadow form LOL)

Kitten Parade - Sugarpill describes this as a shimmery peach with opulent golden sheen. That's exactly the color that it is and right off the bat I knew it would be one of my favorite colors. I don't own many eyeshadows like this so for me this is a nice change from the typical colors In my collection. Kitten parade reminds me of an eyeshadow version of NARS orgasm blush and would look absolutely PERFECT on anyone with medium skin tones. The more you blend this out the more of that peachy golden tone comes out it's just so pretty!

Frostine - Sugarpill describes this as frosty pastel lavender. Okay so let me take a second to just say this eyeshadow is my baby I LOVE IT! I don't know what it is with me and lavender lately but i'm all about findind really gorgeous lavender eyeshadows and this one does not dissapoint. Sugarpill gave this a good description but, there's a little something more to this color than just being an average pastel lavender. When you glance at this eyeshadow in different lighting it reflects off this amazing pinkish/purple duo chrome and it just adds so much more to this eyeshadow. If you're a purple fan hands down you need this eyeshadow.

Candy Crush - Sugarpill describes this as a mint pearl. I can see where the term of mint comes from and it does have that essence to it but, I see this as a shimmery sky blue more. It's like a lighter version of freeze from Urban decays Vice 3 palette. I like this color but it's not one of my favorites.

Hotsy Totsy - Sugarpill describes this as a magenta with iridescent fairy sparkles. It is a magenta and it contains hot pink sparkles to it. This color had the weirdest texture to me...It seemed kind of rough it's pigmented but not as smooth as the rest of the colors. I would love to use this eyeshadow with some neutral eyeshadows it would add a really nice pop to a look.

My Final score for the Sparkle baby palette. 9.0

two colors I would recommend are Kitten parade and Frostine.

Remember guys these eyeshadows come individual as well as in palettes. So if you only like one or two colors you can order them alone. (^_^)
